Using a Fibre Pen for scratching Hair/fur

Mine seems to have the fibres 'glued' together, is there an easy way to remove the glue ? ei water/thinner of some kind.

Normal cluth pencil form a stationary store or art store, 2mm fiber erasres I know you can get through Foxy art studios... There is also a place in Australia that does them, I'll see if I can find the link...

Thanks Mark, I know I sent you a link via PM, but I've since cleaned out my PM messages, and I cant find it.
when you do can you add it to the 'aussie page'

I've spent the last 10 minutes trying to find it to no avail.

the 4mm are easy to find, the 2mm are like Dragons to find :D

For mine from a quick search on eBay , (they are used in the automotive and electronics industry), and the refills which came in a red packet they do have a very small amount of glue holding the bunch of fibres together.

Sometimes, if you get it too wet... the fibers will fall apart and almost disintegrate as you use it. I have had fibre sticks last quite some time... and I have had others that just were done in a few sessions.

I usually order from Foxy... but maybe thats a bit of a hassle from downunder?!

Not a hassle, their service is top notch... it's expensive!! :)

its the refills that are hard to get, the 2mm refills go in a standard mechanical pencil. A lot of 'amazon' wont post outside of US, or if they do the postage is a deal breaker.

Very cool! I need to work on my fur and getting different styles down. What kind of paint did you use here? Wicked seems to dry so fast I never have time to erase.

Not seen that one... looks good. I have a 4mm staedler one and the 2mm one fits into a standard clutch pencil like @AndreZA said.
