Skin tone recipe

Make sure you have a colour wheel and think in "what colour do I want to KIll" rather than what i want to add
if I knew how to use the colour wheel that would probably work :D
I have one and I've used it for 'what colour do I want' but not 'what do I want to kill' that a bit of reverse engineering .

Its really simple
If your tone is too red look for the colour opposite on the wheel (green) and that will desaturate the colour or move it toward the middle of the wheel, which is grey. Think in opposing colour/complimentry colours and the penny will drop!!
Too bright or dark then add sepia/black or white!!
Simple :) :) :)

DEATH TO RED !!! Haha

Also remember that you have to use opaque paint to colour match as transparant only will get darker and darker the more you spray. The white added to the mix limits/buffers how far a colour can go.

You can not make colour recipe book an e-book or any other digital formal because each and every electronic display is different. I also have a couple of recipe books and charts they are only a guide. You need to use the exact paint they are using to get close and then you need to manipulate it yourself. Even the printed version is off.

Hi, can you still get the Dru Blair newsletter with the skin tone info? If so, how do you get it? Thanks P
