Hey guys I want to say that I never really wanted to paint hyper- realism. Los Angeles is my stompping grounds and if I go to coast airbrush classes people will house me for my stay- I am interested in taking 3 coast airbrush classes it will be about same price as classes if dru plus it will cover different subjects- Question should I see DRU or go to coast airbrush for theirs? Merry Christmas to all!!

Was checking school of realism- its 3 days for some reason thought it was a week for the $ probably going coast- taking portrait, texture and guitar course. Still want opinions!

If you don't want realism then Coast seems like a better option, what are you wanting to learn?

I like realism not hyper-realism. The portraits Ive seen come out of coast push the boundries enough for me- still want opinions please!

Any class you can get will aid you in getting better. David Monnig host some really well instructed class and Dru no one will say his courses are not well worth it. Mainly it comes down to which will give you the most in the direction you want to go.

Yeah I would say any class to help you learn is a good thing, you can take From it what you want, learn as much as you can...

Dru's class is about photo realism which is different from hyper realism - at least to my eyes!! If you do the portrait class you will get the colour theory which I learnt last year and which has transformed my perception and abilities :)

Any choice you make will nit be a bad choice. They are bith good and you will learn regardless. I know for me the colour info alone is worth doibg Dru course.

I would go to coast airbrush. David always has a variety of awesome classes to take
Thanks I am so excited hope I don't regret- I already know a million airbrush techniques - sometimes wonder if it would be techniques I already know?
