Will doHope you and your new toy have a long and happy journey. Congrats Show us what it can do, and give a review for anyone thinking of getting one if you like.
I chose the 0.2 - 0.4 because i felt that 0.15 was a bit too fine, but will probably buy 0.15 anyway if i know my selfCongrats on your new toy. Mine came with a 0.15 and a 0.4 - the 0.15 is VERY delicate.
Ok, thanks! I will try the wicked for now, because i have spent more money than my wife accepts. But i will start looking for new or ways to solve the problemGreat stuff. Enjoy.
All paints has tip dry. Some more than others. And others just so slow that it feels that it is not happening. That one is E'tac EFX. You still get a bit with white and flesh though.
I don't know what's available in Europe but down here we have our own brand of paint and they make a nice thin retarder that works great with Schmincke. Maybe look for something like similar. I know E'tac has a retarder but I don't know if it works with Schmincke.I have tip dry only when I spray finest details and lines. When I paint with "full throttle" this problem not exist.
For Schmincke AeroColor is there a retarder that delays drying.
H&S Guns have's a good handling.
I have the high preformance reducer w500/4012. Does createx have any retarder in the program, that work with wicked? There is a bit of a learning curve with Wicked, but it is awesome. Make sure you have the 4012 reducer, and play around with your reduction. It will take some practice, but I hardly get any tip dry at all, opaque black is a little worse. Its well worth it IMO as I paint on pretty much anything. If you are only going to be painting on paper/board etc then you might prefer Illustration, Com-art or E'tac fx. But Wicked works great for that too, just bear in mind that if you want to erase it scratch you need to do it pretty much right away.
Thanks will try both and se.Yes, I think it is 5607? I have never used it though. The 4020 is good for hot humid or cold conditions too.
Congrats on a Infinity CR, I have one of those with with all the optional needles/heads, etc., including the spatter cap. They are beautifully made, are they not? Like jewelryI have the high preformance reducer w500/4012. Does createx have any retarder in the program, that work with wicked?
I have an infinity cr plus .15mm set up , but im not too sure if it will spray wicked detail. I also have a iwata hp-c plus with a .2mm setup, would that be more suitable for spraying wicked detail and auto air? and will i get fine lines and detail with it. Would love a micron but would rather spend the money on createx paint line. I want to paint helmets , goalie masks, guitars and motorcycles.
