What year is your Micron? Mine has lines on the nozzle base.

I also own some Olympos. Maybe I got them switched. Does your micron base have the 3 smaller holes or larger?Interesting, the Olympos heads I have have those lines (just like the drawing), but my .18 Iwata's do not. I have a .23 Iwata due here on Wednesday, and will be curious to see if it has lines, or no lines .

I sold my V1 CM-C+ and got a V2, but I put V1 head on it. Saving the new head as a spare. They look the same to me (no lines). I think I've read threads on here that the V1 and V2 heads are the same. I can't tell a difference.
I'm sorry Dave. I had it backwards as usual. Just went and checked. My Iwata is smooth. Forgive my knuckle-headedness. DOHH! ops:Have to check in the morning...
Yes sir. I used to know that. My mind decided to take today off.View attachment 46828
The L3 is the large 3 holes with stripes on the head. The S3 is the 3 small holes with no lines on head. The S3 is like Iwata Micron.

While I have you fine people on here. Is there any way to tell the difference between a .18 and .23 nozzle? Markings or anything?
I knew that was coming. I've had nozzles off my .23 Olympos and .18 Iwata at the same time. Yeah I know that's not smart. But I'm wondering if I've got them backwards. I would think there has to be an ID mark on the nozzle but maybe not. I'll get them under a loupe later and see if I can tell.difference? Big hole, and little hole
