Problem with my H&S... again...

Hi there, i have one more "problem" with my H&S evolution silverline two in one.

With the kit 0.4 work "perfect", but when i equip the kit 0.2 i have some problem, ball in the tank.

The needle is ok, the nozzle is ok, and the cap is ok too.
All 3 parts is perfectly cleaned.

After some try, the airbrush work perfect, and after some minute of work they give me again this problem...
I need replace all kit?
I almost hate this airbrush, i this as soon possible to buy a iwata airbrush...

Now i have the same problem with every two kit, 0.2 and 0.4.
All is clean, and perfect...
I dont know how i can solved...

This brush has given you a hard time :( Is it possible that some of the parts have gotten mixed up? If you have the wrong head with the wrong needle and nozzle it could be letting air back to the cup?

If you are sure its not the parts, and its 100% clean, and nothing is damaged or broken, maybe its time to return it. It hasn't been right since you got it, and as you haven't had it long should be under warranty.

Every now and then a brand new brush can be faulty. It happened to me once. I sent a brush back, they tested it and offered me another one, but I asked for my money back instead. Then bought an Iwata, and never looked back.

The cool thing about airbrushes is that there really is no mystery to them - they work the way they work, and there is not a lot that can wrong that would be "different".

Air bubbles in the cup - air is getting into the paint stream from one of only two places. The first is the tip of the nozzle. The second, the base of the nozzle, where the seal is. Because of the way the air is passed through the brush, these are the only two possibilities. Now, the reasons for them, they can vary, but they will always boil down to being one of these two places.

It is possible that the nozzle is dirty, and that a small particle of dried paint is preventing the needle from creating a seal against the nozzle, thus allowing air to enter. Also, if you have been working the needle in and out by hand, trying to clean, it is possible the nozzle has developed a crack along the front edge. The wrong air cap on a smaller nozzle, and needle will have air doing things it is not supposed to, too small an air cap will force air into the nozzle. If the air cap will not screw far enough on to allow the nozzle to protrude slightly forward of the air cap, air can be forced into the nozzle...

The other place is the base of the nozzle, where the doughnut seal fits against the brush body. On the H&S, the air cap forces the seal against the brush body when it is tightened. If the air cap is prevented from screwing all the way onto the brush - it can not force a seal at the base of the nozzle. If there is dirt or debris in the brush body, where the nozzle seal is supposed to make contact, it may prevent a seal there...

I may have forgotten a few possible causes, but when you find the problem, it will be in one of these two areas...

Thank you for answer, no mix for needle, cap and nozzle.

I have from about 12 day's and i pay 165 euro.

If i send back the shop check or send to factory for control.
And i cant send for the moment, becouse i have only one airbrush, and i need it for working on lures.

As soon as possible i try buy one more airbrush, and i used this like second airbrush.

Can i know witch model of iwata do you used?

Thank you a lot to explain me.
I almost solved.

To solved the reason i need tighten too much the caps.

If i tighten the caps too much i dont have the problem and the airbrush work perfectly.

I hope to dont have more problem with this airbrush.

in English they're called bubbles. they indicate an air leak.

when you clean the airbrush make sure you clean the threads on both parts, there may be a little bit of dirt stopping it from sealing properly. a soft toothbrush will help or even an interdental brush (the small brush you use between your teeth, like a hairy toothpick ) if you're not sure what I mean I can post a picture for you...

if you still get bubbles then you may need put some beeswax around it, not a lot, just a little. You can also use chapstick ( the color less lipstick used to stop your lips getting dry)

Thank you a lot for the fast answer, i try clean again and tomorro i go to buy beeswax.
Now i show you the part inside and the gasket.

I dont know why the new airbrush give lot of problem, i buy the 18 febbruary.

gently remove the o-ring and make sure everything is very clean (threads and rubber ring) . When you put it back together you can put water and a little liquid soap in the brush to see where its leaking.
Always let the o-ring dry completely before putting it back in.

Maybe give it a good clean and leave it all apart and let it dry while you go and get your beeswax

This normal and will happen to all Airbrush's. It is nothing wrong with it. You can put some chap stick on the threads (bees wax type) to seal the threads, but having that leak is not an issue. As for bubbles in your cup just tighten the head a bit more. It seems like everyone else had you covered.

Thank you a lot for the answer.
Tomorro i buy bees wax.

I say sorry for all my stupid question, but every day i see new problem and i have new doubt.

Thank you to all for the patience with me and for the answer.

That O-ring should really seal the head without having to use wax on the threads. No harm in using the wax, but it does concern me that if the O-ring is not sealing, then the head is not on far enough to force the nozzle base seal to close either. If the seal at the base of the nozzle is not seated well, you will get bubbles in the paint cup again.

I have a pair of pliers with a nylon jaw insert, which I would use to just give that cap a tiny bit more of a twist...

Being that that is a rubber O ring I would avoid soaking in solvent or airbrush Restorer. It will cause the O ring to swell and not properly seal. I take it that that brush has a floating nozzle, similar to the Iwata Eclipse and they need to be nice and tight to get the nozzle to seat properly. Being that those threads go inside the head system I would almost be reluctant to use the beeswax. Because if you get too much it could get inside the head and be horrible to clean out.
