I just watched a side by side and the guy was using bulldog for years and tried the duplicolor and says its far far better
I've seen people say regular createx works better for this but only because it's more flexible, not because it's got better adhesion. So i'd say it might be a cure if your paint were chipping and flaking. Still worth a shot I guess. Your prep sounds exactly like what the body manufacturers recommend from what i remember. Now on my tests I just slapped on one full coat, no tack coats. I can scrape mine off with a hard press of a fingernail, but it only scrapes right where i scrape it. I'm guessing you arent running nitros, so i doubt its a fuel thing. So as far as prep goes, 1.wipe down with degreaser 2.wash with dawn soap 3. Wipe down with alcohol.
Next I spray a light mist coat mixed with 4030 and let air dry. Then continue with a couple more mist coats and finally lay down color. Paint is new never frozen, spray in paint booth 65% humidity and temp 72 degrees. Paint looks perfect when done and let cure for 48 hrs. Put the car on the track after a couple of rubs off the boards the paint will peel off in sheets like tissue paper leaving no residue on the body at all. It never binds to the lexan at all. So confused. I've never had parma paint peel at all. Parma is no longer available in Canada but was recommended wicked. Curious if the regular createx might work better.

I mean that why i whacked it repeatedly on a wall and bent it in half. (see beat them)In my experience with RCs, theres a big difference between hitting the wall and trying to scratch the paint off with your fingernail!
But yeah thats really weird. I think next time I get home I'm gonna try painting a body.
Stop using the 4030 as a base . The standard createx is for textiles only . Just wax and grease remover and then wipe with alcohol.Make sure it is not rubbing alcohol due to that will cause issues . Leave off the dish soap step.
thats what he said he did.Mr. Micron is correct, there is no reason to use 4030 then spray the wicked paints. Use/Mix 4030 into the paint.
@ robbyrockett2 I read it as a mist coat of 4030 - my apologies...thats what he said he did.
