Very interesting, how will you apply it and do you go though 12 steps? I can find it om Amazon UK too. Very interested in your method and results I just got this kit from a shop in holland, used it for the first time today

I use a polishing cloth , then I put a small dab on the cloth of the 10 micron, and mainly just twist it with my drill set at the lowest speed moving the needle back and fourth as the drill spins it then just work my way down until I get to the .5

I ordered the diamond polish too! I want to see how smooth I can get it!!

Arnt Jack that isn't right with the needles. The needles I have in stock are sharp and polished those appear blunt and rough... was there a plastic piece protecting the needle in the package?

I tried to get a decent picture but this shows a needle in the package that is "protected" and my CM-SB needle that has been well used ;)

It is right! The airbrush is brandnew and so is the spare needle and yes there was a plastic piece protecting the needle and bought from s very reputable airbrush supplier. So what’s not right about it?!

The don't look like they are in "good condition" "blunted" I would talk to iwata about them thats what I mean about "not right".

Im starting to rethink buying a Custom Micron. A Grafo is like half the price and its super cool!
I would still get a custom micron, am using two since this week, still getting used to them but pretty awesome so far!

I also have a new 0.23 micron needle in the packaging which I’ll put under the microscope as soon as I get to my studio. I am by the way not really bothered about this quality because i can fix it with 10-15 minutes polishing...

Yes intruding is putting a harder shell on the surface of the steel under a pressurized environment with nitrogen and ammonia. I also ran the nitride machine. Hated running it.

Thats gas nitriding though, same concept, slightly different process than the kolsterizing or ion/plasma nitriding.
The "kolsterizing" thing is propietary so im not entirely sure what the process is but ffrom the claims it makes Im guessing it's some sort of specific way of running the ion nitriding process.
