How to paint waves, beach or lake

I’ve been searching for some info on making waves on a lake or small breakers on a beach. Surprised I haven’t found it I’m here, unless I missed it. Haven’t found it on YouTube either except for hairy brush. I imagine it’s about the same(?). Gonna blow some extra paint at some paper and see how close I get. If you know of a link let me know.
Thanks

This is hairy brush but
Dude is a beast, He also does some airbrushing occasionally. When you go to this you'll see more of his lessons. He covers about every style of beach/ wave scene if you look. I think theres 10 different ones. I know theres this one, ripples, a wave washing into some shallows on a beach, and a single big curled wave and a few more.
Only difference from his hairy brush stuff to airbrushing is that youll use curved daggers instead of brush strokes then fades on the secound part. He doesnt do a bunch of blending strokes and liquid white and crap thats hard to translate over.
Just gradients, daggers, fades

Hes also incredible with flames and has some stuff with hairy and airbrush on that.

Actually I had seen one of his and thought it pretty good. Thanks for the tip. I’ll chek him out as i nod off. Got a YouTube playing wave sounds for the ambiance. Don’t help, but, what the hay?
