So I figured I'd post it here as a conclusion to the thread rather than make a new one -
I went ahead and purchased the Sparmax Airtank System 5.3L recommended by one HuskyStafford - link here -

If anyone drifted to this thread in the first place then perhaps they're interested to buy one, so I connected it this morning (about 5 minutes before 12, that's early morning to me), and it works very well.
I bought the airhose too at the bottom of that linked page, so the entire thing together with postage =
total price £91.97
I'd saved to get my whole kit in the first place and figured: 'In for a penny, in for a pound', so if you're poor but oddly good at saving like me then perhaps consider purchasing this little darling if you're after a tank for a tankless compressor. (Mine's the Iwata Power Jet Lite in the title for a bit of reference)
A few things about the specs:
- The tank has a 1/8" male air inlet, and 1/8" male air outlet(s): I didn't know, but the air outlet on the Power Jet is a 1/4" male outlet, the hose that came with it is 1/4" female on one end, and 1/8" female on the other connecting to the airbrush. I contacted the owner via e-mail (also provided by HuskyStafford) to ask about connections, and he said to connect the Power Jet's hose to the tank, then use the hose I bought from the link (1/8" female on both ends) to connect from the tank to airbrush. It works, so assuming all Iwata compressors, or any in general have the same connection types then this tank should work for any of em.
- Tank is automatic and has its own power socket that you plug your compressor into, if your compressor has a regulator then open it to the max so it charges the tank quicker, about 1 minute for me.
- Tank charges to 60PSI and then activates your compressor when it drops to 40PSI. The tank has a regulator - I spray at around 20PSI, and if I charge the tank fully then unplug it, (assuming irregular spraying like for painting canvases) I get around 20 - 30 minutes of use from it before it wants charging again.
Conclusion - I'm inexperienced with airbrush stuff as of now, but from my perspective it works pretty damn good, certainly does what I was looking for and what I started this thread over, I'd like it more if it let me go for around an hour or so of use but I imagine that probably takes a pretty large tank. So if you're looking for a tank for your compressor then maybe get this one.
Another cheaper option for now would be to buy a longer air hose to go from your compressor to your airbrush and move the compressor away from right next to you to perhaps over the other side of the room. I know it won’t stop the noise but the noise will be less.
Or do this ^
