Adapter Or New Airline?

I was just about to start practicing some beginners exercises. I bought a set of adapters to connect my Paasch 2000vl airline to the compressor. One of the adapters connected the Paasch airline fine to the compressor, the other end is a problem.
See pics.
What kind of adapter do I need to get, or just buy a new airline? If new airline type or adapter, please if anyone has time find and link on Amazon UK or Ebay UK.
Thanx a lot :)

As I already have a 4 adapter set I don't want to buy a 6 set. Looking at description of the adapters in the set which is the one I'm after?
Cheers :)

You're easiest way around this is to get yourself a standard iwata/H&S hose with quick disconnect which will fit directly to you're compressor, rhen alk yiu need is the quick disconnect tail to attach to yiure brush, I could be wrong but I believe the tail is the same as the badger one, if it is I have one that was sent to me by mistake, since I have no use for it I would be happy to send it to for free.

Cheers for the offer I'll first try to source the single adapter.

I would recommend a quick disconnect- Then if you ever get more than one airbrush you can easily change them out.

Uum, thanx, thats a thought, makes sense as have 5 brushes. Looking at photos and details I've posted.Any idea what to get, a cost effective solution? Then all done and dusted and I can make a start?

I'm not into brush-side quick connects personally (on airbrushes at least: they are awesome/essential for other air tools), as I don't like how adding weight and length to the stem effects the ergonomics of the airbrush. Airbrushes screw onto their hoses so quick and easy by themselves that I don't know what one actually gains by using them. It's not like you're going to be constantly switching out brushes while you paint in most cases, and if you were, a multi-hose manifold would be the fastest (which is what fairgrounds T-shirt painters use: one brush for each color, and a manifold, so they can just grab and go). Unless you're into bulky pistol-grip air stems (which in fairness some people are) they seem to me like a solution in search of a problem at best, and a "worst of both worlds" solution at worst.

By all means try them out if you feel like it, but IMO their rep as an essential is mostly placebo, and mine have all become junk drawer food.

A quick connect on the supply end of the hose however IMO is essential if you're not using a manifold.

That said, I also recommend a new hose. Not for connector reasons, but because I think the lightweight poly hoses are way more ergonomic than braided hoses. Once you use one, you'll never want to go back to dragging around a braided hose.

Ah....um:) Thanx for sensible advice, when I first became interested in airbrushing I remembering hearing about manifolds. The point you make about the quick connect, affecting the delicacy of use of the airbrush I feel is very valid. Um, had a quick look on Amazon UK for manifolds, is a manifold a manifold is a manifold? Looks much like a straightforward device, not much too go wrong? If quality is something to consider in these devices, is one make better than others? Cutting to the chase, so if get a suitable manifold, light hose etc. So can anyone tell me.... exactly... what I need to get. So..... biff, bang bong.... I can get on? :) Amazon UK, Ebay UK links would be nice.
Cheers People.

Feel I'm going round in circles a bit with this guys :)
I looked at the braided hose, um... doesn't seem that heavy. I'll carry on with that, though if it becomes a problem I'll look into a lightweight hose. If I get a 4 port manifold I'll then have to go to the expense of 4 additional hoses. So .... think..... have finally decided to carry on with the Paasche braided hose but need two quick connects, one for hose to compressor and one to connect the hose to airbrush. So I need to get the correct ones that will fit what I have, new readers please refer to my original showing airbrush and hose I have.
Cheers.

Well one advantage to getting a QD is you don't need 5 different hoses for 5 different airbrushes. All you need is a nipple for each brush. I use Paasche hoses and QDs exclusively. In my humble experience, the braided hose is much more durable and less of a pain in the butt than the poly hoses- but that comes down to user preference.

If you would like to use a QD for the compressor end, that Paasche hose should accept a 1/4 npt fitting. Get a male nipple (this kinda depends on what fitting is on your compressor) and it should screw directly onto the hose. All my hoses are set up this way and it is very convenient. In my case I have to set things up when I get home and break them down when I leave, so this may not so convenient for some people. Hope that helps!

Looking at the photos in your first post it looks like you are not using a paasche brush but a paasche hose, is this correct? If it is correct you don't need anything, all you have to do is cut off the small paasche connector at the brush end, then if you look at your very first picture you have standard tail already connected to the brush in the same photo, simply push that tail into end of the hose you have just cut and you're ready to go.

I was under the impression you had a paasche brush but the brush in that first photo looks like a generic Chinese cheapy which Will be a standard 1/8th iwata tyoe fitting, if this brysh is a second brush and you do have a paasche brush and don't wish to disable the hose from working on your paasche just buy a standard iwata/Harder & Steenbeck hose which will fit direct to your compressor and the brush in the photo.

The advice given by nessus is great advice but only if it suits your circumstances, you don't need a manifold unless you plan to use multiple brushes all at the same time, and it wouldn't work anyway with your little compressor which only supplies enough air to power one brush or two at very low pressure, I've tried wrapping the hose around my arm too but it irritates me so I stopped it, most of us use the quick connects simply to be able to detach the brush and place it in a safe place when the brush isn't being used such as when we want to use erase or scratch techniques, then simply push the brush back on when we're ready to go again, it isn't an absolute necessity but another advantage is that when you disconnect the brush you don't lose air from the compressor, using a standard hose means that you would need to turn your regulator down to nothing or completely empty the tank before disconnecting the brush.

If you want to use that hose and a qd. You would get this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B000BR0IDQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1525796272&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=paasche connect&dpPl=1&dpID=51nU9pqI9vL&ref=plSrch

And this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00347BSXO/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1525796382&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=airbrush quick connect&dpPl=1&dpID=41zgnQKppHL&ref=plSrch

And use the brush end from the second link but the hose side from the first. Which I think malky pointed out already.

Or do like malky said and cut the one end off, push in the standard Barb, use it that way for now, then just screw in that piece in the second link when you get the qd
