wicked black opague vs jetblack?

I emailed createx about this month's ago, they told me jet black has more pigment in it.
I am still waiting for my jet black. The guy sad he will need up to 2 weeks to deliver. It should be here any day now. I don't get it if it's transparent or opaque though...

This video is a few years old but probably still helpful

I seen that video, still don't know if jetblack is opaque or transparent. This video is the reason I actually ordered jet black. Cause that guy sad jet black has more depth.

IT'S opaque. Higher pigment load than wicked black. It's dense, I have both, really haven't used it much, but you could really stretch it out if you needed to. The only times I've been using black is for lures, even then, I've tried other ways to get colors darker.

I think you'll find the 'Wicked' Range is classed as a Semi Opaque just due to the larger pigment size.
'Wicked Detail' is classed as a transparent, 'Illustration/Bloodline' are also transparent but with a finer pigment.

Black is actually not used a great deal when doing artworks, shadows etc are created without a true black being used.

What has been your experience with these two? Or have you tried them yet
If you ask me Robby , I still have small amount of regular opague black which I already premixed in a small bottle on the left, so I think I will try jet black soon. But to be honest the maim reason I didn't try it yet is I was just to lazy to pure it to the small bottle... -.-

here is a picture for size comparison. I think I will try it soon :D

I still have bunch of those small bottles which I didn't open and try including with few wicked detail and pearl colors.

Yeah just curious what you find. I may have a sort of automotive project with black coming up which will be my first experience using createx stuff for base coat. So...

I will try to spray jet black soon on my color match system I am making for my personal mix. I do have regular wicked opague black already sprayed on one card so I will be able to compare one to another and post picture for you.

Little off topic but still about colors. I modified my mixing color matching system a little. I use a4 pockets for business cards now, cause I can sort them better. Looks like this when I put them out of a4 folder. In half a year I will need only few big bottles...WP_20180510_002.jpg

That's cool! It's pretty similar to how auto paint compaines lay out color books. One of those things that auto-air is lacking if they want to be taken seriously in the automotive world.
That and matching factory codes.
