NEWBIE GREETINGS

Thanks, Lee... just got done making and using my 5ft x 5ft spray booth. The kind of stuff I do ( so far ) would be only heightened by the ability to mix my own clears with pearls, etc. Hence the reason I started with a SA... to see what I can do that. I'm pretty sure that my curiosity will get the better of me and, maybe, start trying the awesome stuff you all here do.... thanks again.

Thanks, WhiteKnight.... as expected, just ordered another airbrush... CHEAP ( no bashing ); one of the little double action with the tiny compressor... to do single color small stuff on the pieces I do. As all have said, will probably turn into another one and then a better one ... the ADDICTION!

When you get your third airbrush, it's definitely AAD (Airbrush Acquisition Disorder). lollol

For sure... and the toys start adding up... ha!

Thats why we have the massive membership to the AAD group, which isnt limited just to the irrestible urge to purchase airbrushes that we dont need, its all the fun bits that are needed to play with the unnecessary airbrushes lol

Welcome from Argentina. You are in the correct site, by now my first advice is take a deep breathe , and wax on wax off. Obviously enjoy thus amazing trip!!!

I'm sure it will be a trip... plan to enjoy the journey... I've already done things with paint that have been strongly advised against to get the results I want and loving every minute of it!

Hey and welcome!
I bring this up because it could be an interesting topic and might save you some cash;
The v-fan, I think, is a highly over-priced paasche.
The .38 and .66 options are kind of a give away.
At first glance id say a talon TS with a millenium handle, though the offered replacement handle w stop is just a talon handle.
IDK @Jurien72 is into those and could probably tell you
In any case for what they want you could get a talon ts with two needle sizes and get the .99 parts from preval and maybe still have money left over.
I'm assuming the .99 parts from the vfan would fit........Any paasche experts here?
@DaveG, do you know ?

Also, Not sure you would even need the .99 to get a 3 inch spray pattern with lacquer. The .66 probably does it.
The .99 is probably intended for latex.
IDK Kinda just spitballing

Welcome aboard Jimbo!

I have a Talon, and the fan cap is made to work with the .66 nozzle and needle. The Preval is a re-branded Paasche. I do not however know if the .99 nozzle and fan cap are interchangeable with the .66 parts. I suspect they are, but...
