Hi from Texas! My first introduction to this method of painting was, back in the 1980s, when an artist visited my small high school to paint t-shirts for seniors. He approached it like fine art on a canvas. I was so inspired that I purchased the best airbrush and compressor I could afford at the time which was not very good at all. The compressor was so loud that I was sure that it disturbed the neighbors in the next county. When I got to college, I bought better equipment and got mediocre at it. Life and theft of my equipment happened so suffice it to say, I never made it back to the hobby. After 20 years, I recently saw an artist's work (Sasongko's Unconsious Mask) that re-ignited that inspiration in me. I bought a compressor, nothing extravagant but I expect it won't disturb my neighbors and an Iwata HP-CS Eclipse. I consider myself a complete noob so I have lots of learning to do. The first skill to master is figuring out in which hand I should hold the airbrush .
