Are these any good do they dry up quick they are cheap enough for me to try them out.
I like Inks actually but my favorites ar Dr. PH Martins which I own but they are no lightfast.
Like my stuff will ever be good enough to see the Sun.

All waterbased acrylics dry fast. With an airbrush even faster because you are actually drying it as you are spraying. This is good paint. I've soon some good work done with it.

Golden high flow is fantastic. OK full disclosure, It's the only one I have easy access too but now I've used Scminke a couple of times I prefer the work ability of Golden. It's a great all rounder. I just used some Createx Illustration and really liked that on the combination of paint and substrate I was working on. I also compared the golden and the CI on the same substrate and there is a level of similarity.

Golden High flow is great, It is higher priced then the Wicked or illustration line is . at least around me it has a higher price tag .
But I have some from the first samples they sent out and they are still fine.

I use it straight through my 0.23 micron no trouble and the 0.38 eclipse all the time.

I use the Golden Hi Flow extensively. I have found that for me, they work with a very minimum of fuss. There are times that I find tip dry can be a problem, but I have also found that adding Golden Acrylic Flow Release (the stuff dilutes with water, and you should follow the directions! A very little Flow Release goes a LONG way). Couple that with the Golden Airbrush Medium, and there is about no effect you can not accomplish.

Good paint.
Good coverage. High priced however that is relative. Once you start using paint you realize for illustrations you go through very little paint.

It's one of the cheaper ones here in New Zealand! Yes, it goes a loooooooong way...

Thanks for the nfo was paging though a D!ck Blick Art catalog and will get a 10 pack down the road.

Make sure you get the transparent extender. The Airbrush medium is intended for taking your standard acrylic and make it suitable for airbrushing.

Just keep in mind the larger nozzle for easier time with flow. I talked directly with their main tech since I live in NY where they are located and he said it is made for .5 and larger nozzle airbrushed. For some reason the eliminated their airbrush line a few years ago. The flow enhancer is actually a soap and you need to dilute it a lot before adding to the paint. Good luck and I hope you enjoy.

Oh, I don't know about that - Maybe it used to be that way, but I use Golden Hi Flow with a .18 Micron straight from the bottle without issue. Maybe even easier than Createx Illustration colors. I do reduce them, usually just because I prefer to work with a more transparent base, and built depth, and it does prolong tip dry, but is not always necessary. I have 5 or 6 brands of airbrush paints here, and find that I use the Golden Hi flow the most, simply because it is the easiest to use (and looks great). Aside from an Eclipse, the largest tip I own is a .23, with the vast majority being .2 or smaller.

This is an edit (for additional information): Golden has a chart published on their website. There are some colors like iridescent, and florescent that they recommend a .2-.3 tip or larger (I have no experience with these colors), as well as 7 colors from the list of regular colors. Everything else is indicated to be fine through .2 or smaller without issue. I can tell you from personal experience, that the 7 regular colors listed (I have them all) have worked without issue through at least a .2 for some extensive use. They are colors that I use regularly...

you need to scroll down, it is a ways down the page - https://www.goldenpaints.com/technicalinfo_highflow

The high flows work through my micron.

Disclaimer I do not use golden airbrush medium. I actually thin with the w100 wicked reducer (not the high performance]
