If you look closely, where the cut is is, Iwata is round and Olympos is squared off. Tiny bit height difference but nothing to write home about. I use my airbrush like Dru and your right it's for the side feed but I found that I use my same hand positioning on my Micron C as well so it works for me.The shorter trigger seems so counter intuitive. I saw Dru's post on his new custom short trigger, but I'm not convinced and have a feeling the short trigger works with his style and very specific to the SB micron side feed he uses.
To me it makes perfect sense regardless of how you hold the gun. I don't want to pull the trigger a quarter inch before the paint starts to flow.The shorter trigger seems so counter intuitive.
