According to Coast Airbrush, Iwata is coming out with some new triggers. I plan to get a couple of those short Olympos ones. Looks good! And can't beat the price.

A little more work while I have my morning coffee. I got to say I love the Candy2O. Not once have used black on this piece!! Awesome!!!

Thanks but it would be nice if you compared the original Micron trigger with the new one outside the body.
If you look closely, where the cut is is, Iwata is round and Olympos is squared off. Tiny bit height difference but nothing to write home about. Just that square off piece make it all that sweet, in my opinion!!

The shorter trigger seems so counter intuitive. I saw Dru's post on his new custom short trigger, but I'm not convinced and have a feeling the short trigger works with his style and very specific to the SB micron side feed he uses.

I use my airbrush like Dru and your right it's for the side feed but I found that I use my same hand positioning on my Micron C as well so it works for me.

the V1 trigger is shorter than the V2 version and I loved the v1 trigger but I cant work with it after my stroke , I did try to use a shorter one again but after a few minutes working with it I loose control over my trigger finger so I am back to the v2 version that one is just right for me .

What is called "short" trigger on Olympos sales site doesn't mean it's short as you expect. They are only shorter triggers for A and B models and compared to C and D models they are short, that's all.
I've bought some for my modification, but not for making them short. I hold the ABs in a way I do not need short trigger.

To me it makes perfect sense regardless of how you hold the gun. I don't want to pull the trigger a quarter inch before the paint starts to flow.
