I'm just getting into airbrushing and wanted to learn more about the real fire technique. I see there are several mike levalle dvds online.
Has anyone bought them that could recommend which one to get? Also is there anyone out there that might have bought the dvd in the past and isn't using it anymore that might be willling to sell it to a new guy?

Thanks for the advice guys.

Haven't seen them, but Mike Levalle works in urothanes, if you are using water based then it won't be much use as the process is different.

I'm still learning candy20, so cant really say, but I would do an under painting of silver flames to get a proper candy look first. I'm assuming straight over black it wouldn't show up properly.
I never even considered using silver for a base for fire.. But it might be very cool!

Here is candy 2o. On white. I didn't have grabber orange.
So it is blood red tequila yellow. On the flames. Just a quickie I did for my son. He's reading the divergent series. 20170204_182200~2.jpg

The same basic principles apply to hok and candy2o.
I recommend an intercoat clear between color changes with the candy2o.
Most important thing about the dvds of Mikes is to LISTEN to what he says about using the shields.
I'm so tired of seeing over stencil edged messes in candy.
