Createx Illustration Transparent base

The CI transparent base seems too thick to me. This may be normal but I figured I'd check with you guys. I made a video using CI black, CI trans base, and Etac trans base. The CI base seems thicker, stringier by comparison.
By the way I did shake all bottles the same beforehand.

I haven't use the CI base, but the Wicked behaves similarly, its pretty viscous, but shoots really well, just needs a thorough mix with whatever its added to, and I would add that to paint first, then if needed add reducer for low pressure work.

It just puzzles me that it would be thicker than the paint.
It may have a bit mor binder in it to get the pigment to cling to it. It is only to increase the transparency of the color, not to make it flow better, so I doubt you would need much at all. Most of the time you would add it only to a mix if you add opaque white or black for tinting purposes and to buff a color into an opaque. At least that is why I would use it.

Yes thicker than the paint, never occurred to me until reading your post! Sprays fine through my Microns straight from the bottle, I use it all the time :)

Etac is so much thinner then Createx Illustration which is why people love it so much for tip dry etc!

I love Etac on other substrates but not on this synthetic paper. I'm thinking of getting the ag-2050 to add to the Etac for this paper.
