hey i'm new to ..... well .. anything art. I took drafting in school .. like 30 years ago.... lol you should have seen the computer that auto-cad used.. lol. now I have time and a limited income to start a hobby that .... you never know, Might be able to make money with it. in the first airbrushtutor video he said you don't need to be an artist to be a great airbrush person... I am banking on that... lol..

anyways in 3 days my compressor and airbrush get here, feel free to look at my profile and leave a comment.

the first upgrade I am aware that I need is a compressor with a tank. and this leads to my first question.
being as I have a compressor, can I just get an air tank that the compressor runs into and then the gun runs off the tank?

and then the brush I am ordering next month is https://www.amazon.ca/Paasche-TG-3F...e=UTF8&qid=1492987929&sr=8-1&keywords=paasche .

thanks in advance for any responces.

Hi, welcome from the UK :).

You can buy additional air tanks, like this (this is an English one) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0...s=air+tank&dpPl=1&dpID=41LIuW+2MmL&ref=plSrch

But it depends on the compressor you have, and whether the motor will be able to cope, and if you can get fittings etc.

Many of us here are proof you don't need an art background to be an airbrusher, so no worries there.

As for making money, its do-able, but not easy to make a living - even the pros teach, sponsor or develop products to bring in the cash. A little extra, or enough to keep you in supplies etc is more achievable - and you never know, right place right time, you could get lucky.

What Mitch says in the video is true. I've no art background unless doodles on notepads count.
The good folk here will guide you through. Don't be afraid to post questions. Especially when you're frustrated. We've all been there.
Oh yeah, welcome from Australia :D

Yes that is all I would like is to do the odd pic for someone or a wall in someones livingroom. I want to get good enough to do my living room as the front porch of a old west cabin and build a sub floor and such to make the theme... lol the wife laughs...

thanks for your post
