Hey @alanb welcome from New Zealand. Do you have any gear? Which part of the world are you in?

hi

i am in uk got no gear yet am looking at what to get do not want to buy and then find i need to up grade later

OK check out the videos on the airbrushtutor website. Some great guidelines there. The Iwata Eclipse is an amazing work horse and a great starter and is used by many long time painters as well. The cost of the airbrush will be approximately 1/3 of the total price for set up if you include compressor, etc. Avoid beginners kitsets like the plague. They lead to tears, frustration and rude mutterings.
