Wicked paints

I have some Wicked paints and they say they are transparent but the black that I sprayed a while ago seemed to cover very well. So if I want to spray a black back ground and then white say to produce lightning after that go over the white with a blue so the blue only shows up on the white would I be able to do so as on Createx site it states that if you over thin you can get transparent. This is from their site
"Wicked Colors are transparent colors with a high pigment for excellent coverage out-of-the-bottle yet can be over-reduced in generous amounts to make thin, transparent colors perfect for detailed, low psi airbrushing through small tip-sizes."
I hope that makes sense. I used the lightning as an example but it could be anything

my understanding (and please someone correct me if I'm wrong) is that both wicked & wicked detail are marketed as 'transparent' but the Wicked has a heavier pigment load making it appear more like an opaque when its applied
also found this on the createx site:
"Wicked Colors are sheered to a binder size of 0.5 microns and dry semi-gloss level of 70+ degrees.
Wicked Detail Colors are sheered to a particle size of 0.1 microns and dry to a flat finish of 30+ degrees, perfect for illustrators as a flat finish reflects the color’s true hue."

That is why I asked the question. If it comes out as opaque does thinning it make it transparent.
