I have access to paint booth like it was my own but was wondering if windows are closed in house and I go outside and put a drop of urethane in the cm-sb and practice for awhile is that bad? I am not trying to go backwards on safety I have respirator on with waterbased - is the atomization of a couple drops of urethane outdoors not cool at all? I can't be at paint booth all the time- the art work takes a couple of hours on the late night for at least a week can't get to booth everytime I want to shoot small amounts of paint. Thanks guys and gals- will follow your advice.

With a micron you will do very small detail at low pressure. Unless the wind will be blowing it back into your face or your face is is right over the cup, you'll be fine.

Generally wouldn't bother going into a booth unless clearing or basing a whole car..Really just depends on your situation, neighbours and the like..Generally it wont be the person spraying coping the stink..A little in an airbrush isn't going to kill anyone unless they have breathing issues already but every drop going into your lungs or someone elses is one drop thats not supposed to be there, waterbased or uro..But I smoke cigarettes and they make a great filter at times so I'm not one to harp on others safety, heck living next to a busy road is likely 10x worse than the odd/light exposure to uro's and solvents but essentially the lesson is its not a good thing to do often..I don't care bout my own health at times but if I had neighbours or kids around I'd be more worried about them.
