I do not know if it is Iwata that makes the Creos Procon PS770. I think there is actually another company that makes parts for both of them, but that is another story.... What I do know is that Iwata and Olympos heads fit, with corresponding needles. I have a friend in Japan (owns a couple of Procon brushes), and he tells me that even there factory replacement/repair parts are almost impossible to get. I am also not certain that all the brushes in the line are made by the same company, but rather appear to come from several different origins, and are then branded...

That to me would be the deal breaker

Yea at least with the olympos you know it was the original micron, this could be that or a imitation without the tight tolerance the micron has.

From what I have been able to gather from owners, the Ps770 is solid - basically a CM C+. Same kind of specs and finish, and such... Just not sure I want a brush I already know I will have a hard time finding parts for. I already have a few inexpensive imports I topped off with genuine (both Iwata and Olympos) Micron heads and needles, so do I need a more expensive body that I do the same with?

Thanks Marcos, I can read advertising, too - I also know that it (advertising) seldom tells the whole story. I just tend to lean on first hand experience more (or at least those had by someone I actually know) ;)

Jaja sorry, I though that you miss it because it was in polish!!, My bad!
I don't believe that in the oficial page will advertise something that it wasn't true, I can believe it here in my country!! but not in Europe but beside that, true or not, they are very expensive, why buy one if you can buy an iwata almost at same price?

I went to air-craft.net to check availability of parts while I contemplate adding a PS770 to my inventory - but it seems the good bits are "out of stock" at present. I'll check back in a week or so to see if anything changes... I know I had been contemplating doing more with Olympos, but the one and only stocking dealer here has had parts listed as "out of stock" for more then 6 months now...

you cant go wrong with mr hobby, i do have an oldet hp 100b olympos trigger type, and the percision is outstanding, i also have an l3 head that i used with ny mr. hobby, but i think the .18mm ps770 head is way better for me
