Greetings, y'all. Happy to have found the site.
I'm Jake, 38, from Michigan. There's kind of a string of events leading to me being here that probably some of you can relate to. As a kid, the closest I got to D&D was Heroquest. So recently, I bought it off of eBay and decided to paint the minis, to make it more interesting. A search on Google yielded a cool hobby, so I got started. Having already been to the local game store to buy Carcassonne, I knew where to get paints. After a few videos on YouTube, I thought it would be wise to get an airbrush - since I've always wanted to learn how and like doing models of jet aircraft (I'm an AF vet) and other militaria.
I'm new to this, but right now I use 'The Army Painter' paints/primers and Badger's line of ghost tints.
My airbrush is a Badger Krome.
I use cheap brushes, but I do have 2 'Army Painter' brushes, the 'insane detail' and the 'drybrush'.
Apologies for not coming here first, and my thanks to the welcoming community.
