My plastic are new plastic models. And from what ive read autobourn sealer will take care of it. I have a couple of old club members that wants some extra piazz in their models.

the general 'rule' is scuff/degrease/sealer/paint/clear.
just make sure that each layer is properly cured before proceeding to the next. you don't want damp creeping out after you've cleared !

What @JackEb said and probably add an adhesion promoter to help the stuff stick to the plastic. A good degrease is important to make sure any release agent is removed from the plastic.

Autobourn sealer will stick to plastic no worries at all, it has great adhesive properties. Plus if you colour match to your base coat, you need less paint to reach your desired colour. It takes 48 hours to cure, so no solvents before then, but you can use other Createx paint lines in 30 mins. You don't need to scuff it before the next layer, but if you aren't happy with anything like a blemish etc, then it is fully sandable, and it can be taped on etc if needed.

The e-bike I just did was all done with the 6002 sealer black. I washed the parts with soapy water, rinsed well with water, degreased, scuffed using a red scotch pad , degreased again to remove any grease left by my grimy fingers, and sealed. I did a light coat first, let that dry to a matt look, then increased the coverage. Make sure it does flash off between coats. I let that dry then used the red scotch pad again to get rid of any flaws.
That sealer is bullet proof.....if prepped right....
I even used it as the base black for the entire job. It was a very nice black...oh...and all this was done using my airbrush...
This cover was orange...(pic doesn't really show how black it is) the coverage of the sealer is superb...and the other pic is the sealer as a base after clear...
