Hi everyone!
How are you?

So, my partner came home with an airbrush kit for me a couple weeks ago. I'm not artistic, and I had never used an airbrush before, but decided to give it a go!
I love it! Obviously running into a few issues, which I'll post on the beginners page...

I'm from South Australia, and so far, airbrush items are very hard to find! I have a cheap kit, I think the lot cost $100, it's a workzone air brush kit, model 53633, I have uploaded a picture of the specs. I'm currently using airbrush waterbased paints.
At the moment I'm using tutorials online, but they can only teach you so much, and they make it look so easy!
Thanks in advance for my future questions!
Have a great day.

Welcome to the forum! There are several members on here from your neck of the woods, so they can probably help you find what you're looking for. (Or tell you just how screwed you are :p) Lots of helpful people on here can answer any questions you have.

There's only one active member from his 'neck of the woods' and that would be Meeeeeeeeeeeee. The rest are in the same country. :D

Where in Sth Australia do you call home ? Yes Australia in general sucks for airbrush supplies but as Mark has said, Airbrush Megastore is the best place to start.

Having no artistic talent isn't going to hold you back if you are genuine in wanting to do this, it just makes it a little more challenging. I'm hopeless with a pencil but do just fine with an airbrush.

Whats your goal with airbrushing ? in the future are you looking at doing t-shirts, cars, art work in general ? It will help us to guide you in the right direction

Welcome from New Zealand. What part of Southern Western Isle are you in? We have a few members down that way. Airbrush Megastore is the first port of call for people in our area!

I'm in adelaide :)
I did stumble across that site but, I wasn't sure what I was really looking at, not knowing brands and all that jazz.
Just as a hobby really, paper, my partner makes wooden furniture, so maybe on there if I get good enough Lol
It's more of an escape from my baby when he's asleep lol.

Welcome To Mitch's madhouse or as some call it the O.A.F. (orange airbrush forum) Glad to see new people joining us Jackie might even be close enough she could have you over for instructions?

I've just realised we unofficially nicknamed Mitch's forum "The OAF" . . are we somehow insulting him by calling his baby 'the OAF' or are we saying he is 'The OAF" . . . $5 to the first one to call Mitch 'The OAF':laugh:
