Son of a B, there's paint and air.

Got back from work excited to try a new quick release valve (little things make me happy lol) and to squeeze in a couple of hours painting. Hit the trigger and... Paint as well as air. So far I've tried to see in the nozzle and I think I can see something. Tried a Debra brush with airbrush cleaner. Gave it a sole for 10 mins and I'm just waiting for the ultrasonic cleaner to finish [emoji45]. Any suggestions other than that?

Make sure when you put it back together that the needle is all the way forward and seals. Don't ram it. I push it forward very lightly with a turning motion. I found that when I seat the needle, I put cleaner or water in the cup and push down for air as I do it. When the water stops, then you have a seal.
This way you won't flare the nozzle (tip). Works for me every time...
Cheers

Thanks Mate. I'll give it a whirl.

The advice worked great! Thanks very much twood. Bit of a school boy mistake, but I've taken it apart lots of time and have always managed to set the needle correctly before. Another lesson learnt though.
