Hi, my name is Franz, I'm German and also live there (right on the French border) and I've been airbrushing for quite some time...I actually started in 1992, airbrushing cakes in a store on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood, LA. Well, many a colors have gone down the drain since then, now I'm mainly doing Mural-projects. I will post some of my work, if you don't mind...

Hi there @bilderschmied welcome from New Zealand. What sort of toys do you have...? Yes we'd love to see your work, current and historic. Start a Gallery and put some pics in there! Look forward to seeing your work.

Welcome from Australia. You sound like you could have a lot of knowledge stored in your head.
Post away we always enjoy seeing what each other is up to. Although this forum is predominantly art, we also have artists with tshirts, fishing lures, gaming models, Remote control vehicles, and cars, motorcycles and helmets. I think I've covered most aspects, oops almost forgot gaming consoles lol

Welcome to the family of misfits :D

Franz, welcome from Ukraine!:)

Just seen your murals. Big and professional they are!
Hope, you don't mind my PMing you on some questions.

Thanks for the warm welcome! My toys are quite numerous, some Badger Anthems and Renegades, some Crescendos and Vegas, Evolution, some Iwata HP and Eclipse, 2 Olympos Microns for detail work, one Paasche Talon (out of curiosity) and some older Sata-stuff. Paint-wise, I mainly use Createx and Aqua Flow, for illustration I use Hansa ProColor (I think they're similar to Golden acrylics) and Holbei Aeroflash. All transparents, except for some blacks & whites... My main compressor is an old Sil-Air , 100/24. I will try Montana transparent color out of the spray-can on my next project, that'll probably save me a lot of money and the use of Lascaux UV-Varnish...

By the way, this is my latest piece of work, just finished it yesterday...stahl01.jpg stahl00.jpg This what it looked like half way through, so you can get a feel for the size.

Welcome to the forum, nice mural and nice equipment. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
