Hi Folks,

To be honest I only signed up because I have compressor troubles and I wanted the free consulting.
I got so many replies immediately from people trying to help though, that now I really feel obligated to behave like a decent person and introduce myself as one of you suggested.

I'm not much of an artist, I would paint mostly miniatures, some doodling on paper occasionally. I'm from Hungary originally, but I live in Austin, Texas now. After some time I wanted to get back to my hobbies if only the gods of compressors allowed.

I have an Iwata Revolution CR and a Silentaire 20A compressor that I - hopefully temporarily - really hate.
I'm using acrylics. Nothing special.

Thanks.

Hey Gooby, welcome from New Zealand! Glad we were at least trying to be helpful... :) Hey were you able to get the video of the fault?

Hey welcome to the forum Gooby, hopefully we'll help sort your compressor problems out but to be honest folks rarely have issues with what you got.

Thanks guys,
Mark: No video yet. I discovered other problems with it :(
Rick: We had Six Flags for our company yesterday. I had to skip unfortunately. Not that I miss the rides, but I miss escaping early to take a stroll on Riverwalk. Best place ever. (...but I haven't been to New Zealand yet. :) )

Welcome from Australia Gooby,

'Helping ' is what this forum is all about, where we can, we will. if all else fails we can point you toward a reputable dealer.
By all means, stick around, we do have some members here that dabble with miniatures, and models, and RC 'vehicles' so we are not just about Art.
Besides, once you get your compressor sorted out you may find that doing some 'non miniature' work seems appealing and believe me, if drawing was a prerequisite for being able to airbrush then i wouldnt be here, and that goes for other members too. Many of us have no drawing abilitiy/ art background but just a desire to produce something pleasing to the eye.
