So I finally made it home last night, and finally got to meet my new V-Model. I didn't know it was the Statue of Liberty model- yes she was as green and crusty as the handle. A tap with a hammer got the nozzle out of the aircap, and the air valve is hopelessly frozen. Fortunately I also had an order of V-type parts waiting, so I was up all hours of the night making a workable brush. I've been doodling around with it this morning, and well it sprays like a Paasche! Another batch of parts (including a shiny chrome handle!) is now on its way to my house.
In other news, the VJR is working flawlessly, and now the VSR is gushing paint from the trigger cavity. I guess I should stop screwing around with the Spectra-Tex paint and pull out the good stuff! Yes, its good to be home...
