Hello!

I've searched quite a lot and I think I found the perfect community regarding Airbrush :D

I'm pretty much a total newbie on the field of drawing (I can pretty much only do isometric drawings right now, but I want to improve on that) but I fell in love with an airbrush the moment I was able to see a video and check one friend airbrush lol

After a lot of search I bought an airbrush, asking for a friend to bring/import it to me (I'll soon create a forum post asking stuff about it) and ordered an air compressor.

So, I decided stopping being an anonymous browser and created a forum account, hoping to (initially) find help, inspiration and guidance during the learning process, and hopefully get to a point where I can give it back and hopefully teach a trick or two to someone in the same position as I am right now :)

I'm anxious to get started and thank for you having an already amazing and supporting community for newbies and professionals - from what I saw while browsing anonymously, you guys are awesome!

Welcome from Australia, and on behalf of the forum, thank you for your kind words about the forum. We do try hard to have a friendly welcoming place.

Where do you call home and what brush did you get?

Thank you very much!

I'm from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro :D

After a lot of research on the web, and almost going with an Iwata, I decided to get a Harder and Steenbeck Infinity CR Plus 2 in 1. I choose it instead of a Iwata mostly thanks to the needle size flexibility, allowing me to change it without the need for a new airbrush, and the fact that my brother now lives in London and it might be easier for me to get replacement parts instead of an Iwata or Badger airbrush.

Right now I have needles with the size 0.15mm and 0.4mm, planning to start with 0.4mm for ease of use and "less-chance-to-screw-up" :)

I'm hoping I made the right choice for me! :D

Welcome to the forum, you have come to a very good forum. We have artists of all levels and who paint all sorts of subjects so we should have you covered no matter what you want to paint.

Welcome from one Newb to another. I was amazed by how friendly and accepting this forum is too, and having been a part of it for a couple of months now I can tell you it doesn't change [emoji3].
