Welcome to the forum! Your painting doesn't look bad at all for the short period of time you've been at it. Don't rely solely on your brain to "visualize" what you're trying to render though. Using references will vastly improve your work. Even if the image you're painting comes completely from your imagination, you can still find a reference of a hooded sweatshirt to use as a guide for that portion of your painting.
