Finally did it

Been wanting to upgrade my compressor for awhile now and finally did it. Ordered a California Airtools compressor tonight. Just the 4610 model. It will handle what I need here and since I work in the spare bedroom, needed something quiet. Been using a tankless master compressor. Anyone here use the 4610? Thoughts?

It's a great little compressor.
A family member ordered one and uses it for their carving tool. I was surprised on how quiet it was when we hooked everything up. It is also very user friendly.
The only thing we had to do was get a moisture trap for it.
When my current compressor craps out, I'm gonna grab one for myself.
Congrats on the new purchase it's a good buy.

They are a good compressor Vince from what everyone has said. We don't get them here in England I dont think but there are similar ones. I have to have a look at my Iwata powerjet pro as its making a knocking sound.. Doesnt sound good. So might be going back to my tankless iwata smartjet

Compressor arrived yesterday and looks and runs nice. Didn't get a chance to try it out though. Got all hooked up and ready to paint, sat down and began to shake up a bottle of Wicked Violet . Didn't notice the cracked lid. You guessed it, violet paint all over the floor and I paint in a spare bedroom at home. For the record, cream colored carpet doesn't hide violet paint very well. Spent some time trying to clean it out. Maybe I'll get a chance tonight to paint some after I get something to cover the carpet with...

I have a 4610. Mine is branded Husky. GMC and a couple other branded models are out there. They all share the same part number. I love mine. I use mine for bigger projects, outdoors, etc.. I also use it for other air tools as well. I used it as my primary compressor for a year or so. Now for indoor work I use a smaller compressor that I was able to find a great deal on. I would definitely buy another California Air Tool compressor again and probably will.
