i probably should post this in the newbie section, just wanted to reinforce the need to keep a brush clean. I was having problems wit my Sotar 20/20 so I tore it down and wak shocked at the crap I dug out of it. Actually I’m pretty impressed that it was working at all! Kinda of a testimate o the beast. Where was that dried paint built up at ?
A lot of time the needle bearing does not always seal and you can build stuff like that up in the trigger housing. Which for the most part will not effect how it sprays.

That's why the first things we ask is..did you CLEAN IT? when it won't spray paint.and the first thing we tell you is clean it again:D

Had paint all over but yes quite a bit in the trigger area too. After being proud of myself for getting it squeaky clean I put it back together and had the bubble in the paint cup problem. I’d posted about that earlier. I could take off the regulator and get air out the tip but when putting it back no air came out the front. I had reciently changed the regulator for the same problem. I’m thinking either the nozzle isn’t seating right or the Teflon seal in the front is wallowed out?
