Boz, welcome to the forum. Whatever you are interested in doing there are plenty of people to help. By the way, what are you interests airbrush-wise?
You have equipment yet?

Hi I’m all kitted out, but my compressor wasn’t delivered today. So this weekend I have to wait another two days. So had to get the paints and pencils out. Praying for it to turn up Monday. And then a nice week exploring. I’m going to do all of mitch’s exercises and love all of it..

Good to hear. I also have the exercise worksheets that I am working through. The fun part is figuring out paint thinning, mixing, pressure, and so on. Consistently would be nice too ;)

Welcome from Australia Boz.
I was born in Kent :). Sittingbourne to be precise, left there in ‘69

What started your interest in Airbrush and where do you want to end up ?

Wow alll my family are in sittingbourne my great grandad had a shop in Fredrick st. Fred mockett. I’ve done a lot of painting and drawing but I watched a documentary on Drew Struzen. I liked the way the airbrush was giving control over the paint. I would like to always progress and start using colours, mixing precisely. I’m bi-polar so I paint for therapy.

Welcome Box. Dre Struzen is a legend! His Indiana Jones pictures might be my favourite and he's a great source of inspiration. What paints and which brush have you gone with?

Cool. Is that regular Createx or Wicked / Illustration? The more info we have, the more we can help if needed. Plus we’re all a little nosey LOL.

Nice. Just be aware that regular Createx is designed for T Shirts and fabric so it will need more reduction the the other lines. But that’ll all come when your compressor arrives.

Standard Createx and a .2 will need a lot of reduction and may give inconsistant results even when reduced. The standard Createx prefers a .5 needle and around 50psi

Not ideal if youre not doing textiles.
The pigment size in that paint line is large and may struggle with a .2 needle.

Createx ‘wicked’ and ‘wicked detail’ will paint on most surfaces through a .2

.2 is one of the finer needles. Most start out with either a .35 or .5 needle set, they’re a little less finicky

You should also included reducer, restorer and transparent base to your shopping list,
