Gotta ask about Iwata options

Joe T

Mac-Valve Maestro!
so, I have 4 Iwata HP-C S and love them but I also have a Paasche Talon that sprays ok but not as good as good the Iwata. What the talon has that I like is the way you can turn the knob on the back of the handle to limit the travel of the trigger. That being said, what Iwata has that same option and is there anything I can add to my 4 Iwata to give them that option as well. With most here, I’m not opposed to getting another airbrush. Lol

Thanks

Joe

That is cool if I was in the UK and I am sure many who are in the UK will love the find .
They got international shipping, but I don't have a clue how much is the cost for it. -.- I was linking it, cause I thought in states you can get the same preset handles.

Sometimes we can other times we can't Depends on who the supplier is.
But still great information.

Only if you plan on going with the .2 conversion . But going from .35 to .3 I doubt you would really notice a huge difference in how it sprays.
I have the CS as my work horse and the Micron for detail.
So being you have plenty of work horse brushes the Hp-C with the .2 conversion would make a nice detail brush.
If you went with the HP-CH in the hi line series with the .2 conversion you would pretty much have a micron LOL aka a poor mans micron.

The triple action handles are available and will fit. Or the HP-CH would be a fine choice.

I have a triple action handle set , While cool looking on the brush the weight of it on the needle tend to warp the needle .
Mine now just sits in the plastic case it came in .
Good to know. I have totes with the idea for my Eclipse, but will eventually go the Kustom route I think.

you got enough options to pimp your airbrush :) I for one have never used the pre set option I only turn it as much out as I can and I have been looking at options to replace that preset screw for a simple closed end

I have one of those triple action sets and ont like it much. Doesn’t really have a trigger stop or preset like the other Iwata I think I see a hp-c or Kustom in my future. I could sell one of my hp-Cs to help offset the cost too. I mean they are all like new. Not sure what a fair price would be?

I have one of those Kustom-CS handles on my CS.

I don't actually use the pre-set mechanism at all myself, but I keep it on because I really like how it alters the balance of the brush. It makes the weight more evenly distributed in the hand, rather than feeling as front-heavy as it does with the stock handle. Downside is the side cutout for access to the needle chuck is useless, as even when screwed all the way out the pre-set nut blocks you from pulling the needle back via the chuck any further than it will go with just the trigger.
