I used to follow the Huong Nguyen...
It’s an artist drawing with pastels.
He’s using green as an underlay base to compliment reddish overlays...
    The technique is called Verdaccio.
That’s the idea on this project.
The pink underlay to compliment green background and opposite.
    I hope it’ll work out...

Cool! The only time I've seen that method used is to help something to seem more solid.
Or with makeup to conceal. Green concealer for red blemishes.
Except the people who basically mix their colors on the page.
It will be interesting to see. I'm sure you will make it work. you're very skilled.

Thank you for encouragement my friend, but I think you’re giving me way too many credits , lol ;)
Many times it’s just miss or match , lol ;)
It was working for pastels , It can be just pointless regarding acrylic paint ;)
I hope it will work, though ;)

    Me too Fred ;)
As you remember my earlier work in pastels - the green faces ... ;)
Lots of people thought it’s weird rather, because they wasn’t aware of that method at all...
Some of them were trying to laugh at me ...
I tried it first on piece of Claybord, everything is ok... That’s why I’ve started like this ;)
But don’t know whether Verdaccio can be used regarding acrylic paint, I haven’t never seen anybody starting like this... ;)

    I think it's a great idea.
No reason it shouldn't work with paint if the opacity is right.
Looking forward to seeing the effect.

    Hi friends.
Due to unsuitable working hours, I’m struggling to spent proper time on my new project.
I’m working on it when possible.

I’ve started with the ear, and I’m moving around, scratching the fur texture and adding some layers of colour...
Slowly, but at least moving forward...

    Thanks for watching ];) B9889CDD-CF88-49B8-9143-99F62026B83C.jpeg

It’s another step Buddy. It sucks when work gets in the way, but it keeps moving forward.
