Steve ! THANK YOU !!!
I’ll check it right now
As I’ve done some work just now
It might be good time to go through your tutorial
Thank you - your help is priceless to me.
I’ve just spent another few hours on it
I’m doing nothing else, but scratching the fur details and adjusting the darks...
I’ve sprayed some paint around the mouth,as the mouth is covered by white hair, so scratching white marks onto white surface - you know I mean
I’m beginner,but not that silly,
I think I’ll come back to it later this evening...
I don’t know about you,but I’m OK painting for up to three hours continuously - then I need a break...
See you later guys ]
No problem , if you are using scratching tecnique this little tutorial for using a fibre pen might help

If this is the yesterday’s tutorial, that I went through Steve - so I know that technique already since yesterday - AND I’M USING IT NOW
I’m going to check your tiger tutorial
Very nice. This is coming together really nicely.
Thank you Franc !
I wish I had 3 consecutive hours to work on a piece, but you're right... it takes a certain time to get into the zone and unleash the "flow". Well, if my lousy brush is behaving nicely...
I’m on holiday - it’s explaining everything
Anyway, I’ve been honest, my best I can do it’s no more than 3h continuously...
And I’m slow painter too
Don’t tell me about the flow,
It’s never ending story Franc
That is looking extremely good very neat and methodical I can only hope mine is a fraction as good as yours
Please don’t spend too many credits on me dear James
I’m just follow my senses, very often there’s lack of knowledge behind it Lol
I’m sure you can do it with easy.
At this stage it’s nothing, but scratching and adjusting shades
The scary thing is yet to come - adding the colour! Lol
Just follow beanpoleuk advices, and go through his pdf tutorials, and you’ll master your tiger!
Steve (beanpoleuk) is one of the top artists in here
Yeh right oh! That’s why you get POM . I like what I like. If it’s good I’ll tell you and it is. Sorted. Take some of that !
I have TAKEN
Appreciate Tuffnutz! I mean it
What a coincidence I just happen to come across this post, a couple of days ago I bought myself a new desk and chair to go in my work space, I ordered both from Argos and they arrived the same day at 8 pm on Wednesday, by 10 pm both were built and ready to use next day I was filling up the drawers and shelves with all my sundries and such which had been dotted all over the house since my return to Scotland last February, while tidying everything into the desk I came across this very SBS in its little green case
@PogArt I can reveal that I am the very proud and and extremely grateful owner of the tiger paint pal featured in this SBS and as if that wasn't enough I also got another one from Mr Bean Beanpole often accuses me of being partially responsible for his immense talent, I sent all allegations, I will however accept and plead guilty to the lesser charge of suggesting the use of magnets
Both of the tigers I received hang proudly in my living room such that they are first things I see when I enter my living room in the morning and I can view from my couch without turning my head, I simply look up and there rhey are, Mr Bean knows I love tigers and that's why I got two
Hi Malky,thanks for your comment
Tigers, tigers, tigers - it seems in the cat’s world they’re most stunningly looking ones indeed
I’m not so sure if I like to confess on public , that I have none of the paintings framed yet...
I’ve hanged up with promising- I will do
I have to change it
It would be good thing to walk in to the room and see the paintings on the wall
Especially the Steve’s artworks !!!
You’ve mention, that you came back to Scotland - have you been far away then?
So you back home now?
Sorry for asking, I don’t know the story...
Ask away my friend, I lived in the Netherlands for 18 years, I was married there but now divorced and returned home to Scotland last year, there was no reason to stay in the Netherlands any longer and I have 3 sons and a load of grandchildren here so it made sense, it's taken me a while to both get used to and to get myself settled again, there have been so many changes since I was last here, I actually left Scotland 34 years ago when I was 26 but lived in Blackpool, England before going to Holland, it was all fun while I was away but it's great to be home.
You really do need to frame and hang your artwork, you too have amazing talent and it should be displayed for all to see, you shouldn't hide it away or just let it sit around, your far better than that.
Here is a photo of my new work space, it's just a reclaimed corner of my bedroom, although my set up in Holland was the same the room I have now is far bigger than I had there so I have more room to work in.
My magnetic board is a little smaller than I would have hoped but it will suffice until I can order a bigger better one, I am happy with the easel though, it folds away into a little bag about the size of the bottom parts of the legs.
I'm almost ready to start painting something, I just need to get or make a stand for my airbrush and I'm searching for some bottles and little cups for mixing paints and cleaning and such, looking forward to it
That’s kind of interesting story my friend
I’m divorced as well,
I was married in Poland (my home country) for 12years,when it’s started to collapse.
I said to my wife - let me try to go to UK, make our life over there, and if we succeed, we’ll stay together,if not , well
She’s left me after fewer months, decided to live with some English man
At least I tried to save our marriage - I have clear conscious
It’s been 2006, long ago
You’re right regarding my work - I’m hiding it for some reason...
Probably it’s because I’m not so sure,if I like my work Lol
I think,I’d rather hanged up the other artist’s art than mine Lol
I need to change my attitude
Regarding your workstation - I’m sure that with some attention to it, you’ll make your place very tidy and comfy, and you’ll start sharing your arts with us very soon Malky
You really need to be proud of your work and what you've achieved, you have won a POM and did really well with another, your work gets top reviews and respect from everyone here including myself, we all have a tendency to criticise ourselves, but it's because we watch our work grow and the whole time we wonder if we could have done it better, every piece we do has to be better than the last but that's never the case, if we didn't do the last there wouldn't be a next your work is well worthy of a nice frame, if you don't want to hang it in your house, give some of it to a pub or clinic and let them hang it along with your contact details, people need to see it and they won't see it hiding in a cupboard
Other than Tigers and indeed any other cats big or small I generally only ever paint paint things I see that I like or they make me smile so I don't paint commission stuff, it's just a hobby for me, if someone made me an offer for something I already did I would more than likely accept but if people ask me to paint or draw something specific I normally would say no although if it was something that I really liked I might accept, I feel there would be too much pressure if I can't just do my own thing and pressure is the one thing I just don't need.
You not pulling any of my teeth out in that surgery. I brush my tooth every week without fail whether it needs it or not.
I’m agree with you a 100% Malky
I have to change my attitude
Thank you for your kind words !
