Auto air transparent VS wicked + transparent base

hello all,

A quick question from the rain-y netherlands...
I want to archive a transparent-as possible- layer of red, without the use of candy. Right now I have wicked red, which I can mix with transparent base of course.
I know the auto air range sell transparent red. My question is...would there be a big/good difference? In other words..is it worth spending money on the transparent line?

Oh, I think i know the answhore...the transparents will get darker every layer, and the wicked's don't, right?

I buy only opaques and make them transparent with bases. If it is transparent it will go darker no matter what brand.

Just make it with the wicked, the Auto paints will be thicker,

Id use the wicked and trans base too. You can add as much clear base as you like then.

I have both and not sure what the difference with auto air and wicked trans base. I just use them with their respective brand.
