Best paints to use when painting sportbikes and helmets?

right now im working on a 2004 zx10r kawasaki ninja (mine) and a friends hjc carbon fiber helmet. i have a harbor freight air compressor (bout to return it for a home depot 5 gallon compressor) and i have a paasche vl airbrush....currently im using spectra airbrush paint im fairly new to airbrushing and like working close when im spraying but often i find the paint puddlin up or dry tip.... is there another company out there that might be better suited for painting sportbike plastics and helmets? this a true carbon farbor helmet so im not sure if you have to use a specific paint for it or what just kinda wingin it
