Candy over acrylics ?

What if I paint acrylic waterbase as a start , then artwork with acrlylics and then extender coat as an intercoat clear ....

Can I go over with candy ? or the solvent in the candy will crack the acrylic ?

I mix them up all the time, have a transparent Sealer now which I haven't tried yet

so you can go candy over acrylic and acrylic over candy with no problem ?
Always intercot clear requiered between layers ?

Candy over acrylic is fine, acrylic over candy will likely get some bleed through (if it needs clearing) and will need a dissimilar inter coat to prevent that.
