It looks excellent. I also want to try coloured pencils. I have them, I just don't have the time to try them.

Have you ever visited Daryl Tank website? It's called the five pencil method, a lot of free instructional videos. He also has some in colored pencil portrait work. I tried his method of drawing and even bought some of his dvd's. I think it has helped my airbrushing.
Looking very good, i can't imagine how to even start with pencils although i have several tins of them. Lee
Very slow layers and different blending techniques. I did real simple ones years ago and got intrigued when I saw some really impressive portraits on the internet, so of course I had to try it again. No, the ones I have are water blend. I have found you can't do large areas of blending with the pencils. To blend with water it works best for file line and edges.
