Double action gun spraying like single...

So I may answer my own question here, but I am spraying Inspire solvent based paints, about 70% thinner, 30% paint and my gun is spraying just a slight amount of paint when I press down for air. I swapped out and ran straight paint with a couple drops of thinner and it stopped.

Am I thinning my paint too much or is it a bad o-ring?

I am using an Iwata NEO...so being the low end Iwata gun, perhaps the o-rings aren't solvent safe???

First thing is your needle isn't seating properly. Clean it out like you've done. If it continues, clear the brush, unscrew the needle chucking not, move the need back, re seat and check.

When you say move the needle back, do you mean pull it back a tad the direction I would remove it, or push it forward more until its snug?

YEs, move it back like you were going to remove it, then back forward to re seat it.

Just to clarify, you are using the inspire AIRBRUSH paint and not their specialist paint? (their specialist paint requires a spray GUN not a brush)

what size needle does it suggest on the bottle? I cant find any recommendations on their website, it may be that the neo needle is to fine for the pigment size. the gravity Neo is .35 and the siphon Neo is .5

I think your needle isnt seating properly like its already been said and the paint is so thin at 70/30 that its able to escape. When you use a thicker mixture it cant escape so easily. Still it shouldnt leak out if it was pure thinner so a good clean and reseat the needle as Mark has suggested. I have used inspire solvents and had no issues thinned 1:1 and 4:1

Yes, it is Inspire paints specifically for airbrushing, sorry for hte confusion

Gunk in your nozzle as mentioned or damage nozzle. Have a close look with a magnifying loupe, you'll likely see what the issue is pretty quickly.
