Are the LPH-80's on ebay (or amazon) from japan true Iwata pieces? I do not want to support knock off stuff...
I'd prefer to buy in the states.
    Any info will be appreciated.
I am specifically looking for a 1.0 needle with E4 cap. I think it is a 4926?? with alum cup.

MMM most likely, a link to one would help to give a better guess specifically.

The stuff coming directly from Japan is interesting. I bought one a couple years ago and it is awesome. Also back then, there was a run of Microns new and old style that were like $250-$300. All from Japan direct. I thought they were fake, but I believe different now. I think they were Japanese re-sellers who may have broke the code or contract, meaning they did a end run-around the Iwata USA people. If anything it showed just how much markup may be in the Micron.. perhaps 100% or more. I think Iwata USA complained up a storm and Iwata Japan got ahold of these guys, and all of a sudden they were asking $650 for the same micron they had been selling for $300.

You are full of it as usual, post up a photo of yours, again you and I both know that isn't going happen because you don't own one, or anything else for that matter, I doubt you've ever used or held an air tool in you're life.

The poster wants to know if the item discussed is genuine or not, if you can't confirm either way with proof, don't waste his and everyone else's time with random nonsense, it just doesn't help, with you're input this thread could go on for 5 or 6 pages and we'll know less by the end than we did at the start, so leave it alone mate.

I don't know if it's fake or not but I would be more suspicious if it was coming from China, but if in doubt, rule it out and buy local.

This seller has been selling this gun on amazon since at least 2015, with lots of good reviews.
Youre probably pretty safe. Amazon is an easy return if not.

Ive yet to see a claim of someone getting a counterfeit from japan.
The only counterfits i have run across are on ebay, by that i mean they have the name right on them, not copycat guns under a different brand name.
    some are clearly not genuine.

I'm just curious why any one person would have 9 lph-400's?
    Holy crap man.
Most shops with multiple employees wouldnt have that many.

:).. same reason some guys on here have 30+ airbrushes.. it just happens. I'm gonna have to sell off a few because it really does make no sense to have that many. You can divide things up, like a clear only gun, a metallics only gun, maybe even waterborne only guns.

Excellent, now we are in no doubt that you actually do own something, it's quite a collection too.

We get a lot trolls here and I'm sure you can understand that when people come on don't post any of their wares or works it starts to look a bit suspect, but you've successfully quelled my suspicions:thumbsup:

I don't have a collection, all I have is one airbrush, iwata HP-B and little paint and a CA type compressor.

I would love to see what you do with your collection, and this time it's just a friendly request:)

I apologise for hounding you, hope you'll forgive me.
