EFBE ordering.

I am interested in grabbing an EFBE.

Has anyone in the States ordered from them recently? I honestly don't even know if they are still operating.

The prices on the website are listed as 2012. Of course I would get a quote including shipping, etc, but am just curious if anyone has an experienced with ordering them before I started to seriously consider which and contact them.

In my past experiences with buying direct from Germany, they seem to have very high shipping rates compared to other European or Asia origins, even considering the lack of VAT on exports.

My understanding is that they have been out of business for almost a decade now. I think they operated until 2015 or so.

Yeah, they are long gone, now. About the closest thing still produced would be a Grafo T1. They still have a different character, though... They actually come up pretty often (for decent prices) in Europe (especially around Germany). Not so often in the States, and prices tend to be quite high here.
