We have a local Exotic Feline rescue about 45 minutes from my house . I took My eldest son , His girlfriend and her dad to go visit there and thought some one might like a couple of big cat pics to use as reference .

The Cougar is one of the few big cats that does not roar , it purrs like a kitten .
They keep telling us if it purrs it can not roar and it is roars it can not purr...
But it was a fun visit I do plan on going back when it is not to cold .

Well most around here call it the big cat rescue but the name of it is Exotic feline rescue which for some it can confuse some lol.
But it is hard to get good pictures through the chain link fence . The close up was actual taken from about 200 yards away I was able to focus through one of the 2"x2" squares of the fence.

just being that close to one would be exciting, and being on the other side of the fence its even better it means I'm not on the menu LOL

LOL I went to a newly found Cavern today that I missed out on the chance of help explorer due to it was during the time my wife was going through her cancer treatments. But a good friend of mine is even in the video telling how they discovered it and helped in maping it out. 47.9 miles long and beautiful.
It also has the largest collect of wet fossil in it found to date which is also cool . the youngest one is 35 million years old.

I do plan on going back to both the big cats and the cavern , But the cavern I will get the special tour from my friend which is about a 2 day underground trip :D

Great reference pics Herb. I was very fortunate to be able to hold and feed a baby tiger. The kittens are solid muscle and very strong so I can imagine the strength of a full grown tiger. But it was a lot of fun and I'm glad to have had the experience. I have a lot of respect for them and know that if an adult cat turns on you, you won't have a chance if they want to hurt you.

That cave exploration sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I could be there with you. So, enjoy and report later. :)

Is it an actual Cave Bear skull???? I saw one once in Canada, and it was massive. Wow, please post pics Herb, and ones of the other bones too, for bone textures etc.
