Here is my first attempt at the leopard. This one was more of filling in the blanks it seemed like with alot of shading. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1333660713.962128.jpg

I'm going to attempt the texture portion tomorrow.

Thanks, I have problems with the real detailed parts. Where I have to be real close to the paper, for fine lines. Sometimes the paint seems to sputter out. I think I need to thin out the paint a little more. I screwed up a few parts. Tried to cover them up best I could.

I know exactly what your talking about, trial and error. I have thinned ALOT and still get splatters. I'm having a bit more luck with lowering the pressure and do you have two moisture filters?

Do you strain your mixture. I was having that problem. I thinned and strained my paint, not so bad now. The other culprit might be a dirty brush.

Looking great drobbins. If i would attempt that Leopard it would more look like a elephant or anything else i bet lol. And about the problems when getting close, i also experienced that alot.
Splatters mostly come from paint that dried on the tip and the air crown on top. So try thining down the paint some more and make sure you always turn the air on before getting on the work
so if it splatters you dont have it on there. I also forget that too often and bang a splatter here and there.

Drobbins i hope my attempt is nearly as good keep it up .

ha! Dylan wow! a very good result for that size.. that template though is designed to go on to an overhead transparency to be placed on an overhead projector!!
Excellent shapes and a great start! you will find this much easier when you enlarge it!
I can't believe you even attempted that, it would be super difficult at that size! very promising - good stuff:)

Wow is right. I feel like a fool. Because it was so hard. It took all my patience. I was trying to get the effect that you were getting with the black spots Mitch, I think I bent my needle even. I hit my board because I was so close.

So same with the Cameron Diaz picture. Blow it up! Because that was so hard as well.

I just hot some larger sized paper. I just need to get a projector.

Where can I get these exercises made into overhead projections.
