    question then, I tend to stay away from this unless I have too. and so far, I have not needed to do it yet. How do you paint stray strands of hair across the face?

    Very sharp color pencils is an option , or and very thin hair brush .
    I'm sure that can be done by airbrushing , but I think that must be a work for airbrush gods.

    Just gessing , I think that maybe you can work in orande paper and scratch the strands , maybe

    Pencils indeed, that's how I did the hair on my Jessica Alba painting, a water colour pencil very sharp as close to the colour as possible and for the for loose hairs hit by by the light very light scratching with the point of a blade.

    The split friskit method could also be used although if there very many hairs it could be very time consuming:confused:
