Ok I was having that problem with H&S needles - I wish I could feel that south African weather right now it is colder than a you know what in the midwest- much respect from far away!

It's pretty cold here at the moment too. Only about 75f.

I really like my Olympos brushes but I've had the same problem. The original needle plus 6 additional that I ordered all bent very easy. Trying to remove tip dry by the gentlest means resulted in a bent needle. After straightening and reshaping they are ok. I even bought 5 generic needles for $7 amazon that work good in it. Maybe Olympos had something go way wrong with a huge batch of needles.

The needles should come in a black plastic protective case, in sets of 1,2, or 3. Nozzles should be in individual bags with an old-fashioned wax seal.
It seems to me like something isn't adding up. I remember years ago a certain US retailer of Richpen airbrushes got caught red handed selling cheap Chinese made needles as new Iwata, Grex, and other brands parts. What nailed him in the end was shipping parts in cheap plastic bags, claiming he bought "in quantity" so Iwata didn't package them.
Turns out all the major manufacturers ship in packaging, usually blister packs.
If you get parts in non-factory packaging, you probably just got scammed.

I love my olympos airbrushes - I do not feel the needles are like soft butter- they are hard with extremely long taper - emailed olympos about packaging but also noticed picture of needle packs look good and ready to withstand shipping! It doesn't add up to me either.

I ordered straight from Olympos outta Japan. Came packaged just as you said. Seems like I could sneeze and they would bend. The cheap Chinese needles I got came in a box with no seal for the tips and just loosely placed in the box. They held up from the shipping and they are still working with no problems. Go figure o_O

Please let us know what you find out. I could pull some amazing detail with the original needles with their long taper but they just wouldn't hold up.

Completely agree. H&S are softer than Iwata, but they don't bend near as easy as Olympos needles.

Call me crazy if you want but I always have my H&S Evolution in my pocket, and no matter where i'm be, I'm playing with the trigger cause it help to relax my self, so you could imagine the countless times that the AB fell of my pocket, have pased two years since I bought it, and the needle, and the complette airbrush is as good as the first day.

    Hi guys, newbie here.

I personally own two GSI airbrushes - PS-290 Trigger and PS-275 Trigger. They are both fantastic I can't recommend them more.

As for the PS-770, the CM-C+ look-a-like, it actually seems it's completely identical to the CM-C+. I was plannig to buy it (and still might), but finally went for Olympos MP-200C. I was using HS Infinity 0,15 for a year and didn't like it much (trigger feel is bad, brass nozzles crack, needles are very soft) - Olympos is just a bit better in every aspect.

    Anyway - here's a comparison of CM-B vs PS-770 on the video:

If someone is interested, I can post some pictures of a direct comparison of CM-C+ and PS-770 and how all parts are interchangable (the head is L3), made by a guy who bought it after watching the above video. PS-770 is now quite lifting off in scale modellers world.

And here is my collection of airbrushes so you don't think I am a liar or something: ;)
