Still working on perfecting my scope and mount. the seeing here has been horible. its been clear but for this scope to really perform in needs dead calm atmosphere all the way up lol . It was still very turbulent when I got these. I should be able to get tack sharp details on jupters moons and inside the redspot. all but 1 were from the same nightin just a few hours Jupiter rotates once in 10hrs57min

the scope isn't has big as I thought I could have went bigger perhaps if I get a big lotto win even around 1 or 200.000 I will build a 24 or 30"f6. this is a 16f7 about 115" long the small scope on top is a 100mm ed f9 about36long I use it to aid in centering Jupiter heres what it looks like on my laptop. when I am doing a video capture it fills almost the whole screen. so cool the wee scope I use to use it was as bug as a quarter now its a grapefruit

Very respectable snaps of Jupiter :)
    What's next???
I'm a nebula and galaxy man, with a sweet spot for globular clusters and wide field Milky Way :)
Keep it up mate, it's a great hobby to be in :) especially when you are getting great captures and a plane flies through the image or the ISS!!!

Great setup Ferret, thats a huge scope. I thought the one my friend has (10" reflector) was large but yours kicks its arse, great pics too.
